The hotel was ideally located with a breathtaking view, providing a high-quality, modern feel in a remote and relaxing location. Sitting by the fire before dinner was simply wonderful, but not the best choice if you don't travel by car. The room was a bit hot but had a nice open view, and breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, although the bathroom was very cold.
The hotel had a quirky yet homely atmosphere that added to the experience. The rooms were freezing cold due to an opened window, but the overall feel was cozy. The service was excellent and very friendly, but there was a lack of basic hotel knowledge in some instances. The location offered beautiful views of the loch and was great for exploring western Skye. The dining experience was of excellent quality but the lack of knowledge on some details was evident. Overall, a remote and relaxing location with some room for improvement in certain areas.
